Treblinka November 2015
In November 2015 I and other antifascists visited the former Nazi death camp Treblinka II in Poland. At the end of the war the Nazis tried to hide all traces of the camp. What you see here is a memorial built by the Russians to honour the dead. Between 700,000 and 900,000 people died here, mainly Jews but also Roma and Poles. In the field of stones that you can see, one stone represents not one person but the dead of a whole town or a country. Never again! Nie Wieder!
